Camila Macedo has Master’s Degree in Education at Universidade Federal do Paraná (PPGE- UFPR) and Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Video at Faculdade de Artes do Paraná – Universidade Estadual do Paraná (FAP-UNESPAR). She has worked as a screenwriter and director in the episode [Des]Iludidxs, from the documental TV series [Des]Iguais, and in the short films Experimento fílmico and Lirion. Macedo participates in the research group CINECRIARE – Cinema: creation e reflection (UNESPAR/CNPq), in which she is one of the coordinators of Ciclo de Leitura Cinema e Feminismo (Reading cycle Cinema and Feminism). At audiovisual and academic area, her productions are dedicated to researches in the studies of gender and sexuality field.
Bea Gerolin is a visual artist, film maker and Cinema and Video student at Faculdade de Artes do Paraná – Unespar. She works as an art director in short and feature films. As a director, she made the short film Colo (2016) – Vladimir Kozák screenplay prize at FastDoc – and Ferradura (2017) – exhibited at 24th Vitória Festival, Tainha Dourada Festival, Metrô Festival, and others. Gerolin develops the research project “A (auto) representação da mulher negra no cinema brasileiro contemporâneo” (Black Women (self-)representation in contemporary Brazilian cinema), and her audiovisual projects are dedicated to this same subject and to new narratives construction.
Jessica Candal has Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual (ECA-USP) and is a specialist in Visual Poetics (EMBAP). As a director, she has made the short films Horizonte, Bárbara na Cidade, Teia e O Espelho de AnA. As a screenwriter, she has written the feature films Ferrugem e Barba Ensopada de Sangue, in partnership with Aly Muritiba, and Tão Longe do Centro da Terra, in partnership with Aarón Fernández. In 2014, Horizonte, her first feature film screenplay, won the Pitchings Contest at Olhar de Cinema Festival, and in 2017 she participated in Brasil CineMundi – International Coproduction Meeting. In the curator area, she has worked as a creator and curator in the project “Reflexos de AnA – Women Documentary Festival”, in the short films of “Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba’s International Festival” and in the documentaries of “FICBIC – Festival Internacional de Cinema da Bienal de Curitiba”.
João Miguel Santana
João Miguel Santana works with sexuality, body and gender subjects in his photo shoots and films. In 2013 he was the winner in 3 categories at Curta 8 Festival for the film Trans, além de. In 2016 he directed the documentary [des]temidas, which tells the life story of 5 trans women from Curitiba e their relationship with the trans body representation in the media.
Fábio Allon has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UFPR, in Film and Video from CINETVPR / FAP / UNESPAR and a masters degree in Theory, History and Architecture Criticism from UFRGS. He teaches Direction and Script on the post graduation course of Cinema and Video at FAP / UNESPAR. In cinema, he acts mainly as a director, screenwriter and editor. His work as a director has appeared in more than 100 festivals around the world, having received more than 40 awards. He is the author of the book “Arquiteturas Fílmicas ” and one of the founding partners of the production company Processo MultiArtes.
